House Democrats release more photos of Jeffrey Epstein’s estate

Democrats in the House Oversight Committee have released batches of photos they received from the estate of convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein. The new photos featured President Donald Trump, former President Bill Clinton, filmmaker Woody Allen and other prominent figures.

The committee pursued further on releasing images Epstein’s estate shared with them for what they said is “in the interest of transparency” and vowed that more will come. The evening batch appeared to show rooms of a home Epstein owned, prosthetic male masks in an operating room of sorts, construction on the tropical property and a photo of Epstein bathing in a tub.

“Let me be crystal clear: we don’t care what political party you are in,” Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., wrote — then deleted — on X, “how much wealth you have, or how powerful you and your friends are. If you raped and abused girls and women – there will be justice.”

The Democrats released images first on Friday that picture Trump, Clinton and others with Epstein. Democrats wrote on X that the images “raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world.”

Epstein died by what federal authorities classified as a suicide in 2019 in his New York jail cell. He was arrested after the Justice Department secured an indictment on sex trafficking-related charges.

Republicans on the committee rebuked the newsworthiness of the images on X and said Democrats were “chasing headlines” with the “selectively censored and cherry-picked” images. They contend that Trump has been proven to not commit any wrongdoing.

Committee spokesperson Sara Guerrero wrote on X that the estate didn’t give context to any of the 95,000 images.

“No attached emails, and no photo descriptions,” she wrote. “What can be found below are the images as we received them, more to come.”

Epstein’s selfies, more mystery figures

The evening release appeared to be more personal in nature as it featured Epstein bathing, construction on a tropical property and numerous selfies.

In one photo, a massage therapy machine is featured, which can be used in several applications such as muscle relief. The maker, General Physiotherapy, doesn’t appear to sell the machine anymore.

Another image showed what appears to be a man holding up a copy of James Patterson’s biography on Epstein, “Filthy Rich.”

Other photos included a “Trumpkin” pumpkin display, a selfie of Epstein with what appeared to be a swollen upper lip and several unknown men posing on a boat, with longtime Trump adviser Steve Bannon and at restaurants.

Who is in the photos?

Influential figures in politics, tech and film appear in some of the photos. They include Bannon, actor and movie director Woody Allen and Microsoft founder Bill Gates. Clinton is shown with Epstein and his co-conspirator, Ghislaine Maxwell, alongside another couple, in a photo that he apparently autographed.

Former Trump attorney Alan Dershowitz is also seen in several photos. Dershowitz helped negotiate a non-prosecution agreement in Epstein’s first criminal case in Florida in the mid-2000s. Larry Summers, a former Treasury secretary and Harvard University president, is seen in one photo speaking to Allen while aboard a plane. Summers’ connections to Epstein forced him to step back or resign from high-ranking roles at major companies, like OpenAI, as well as from Harvard, after emails were leaked to the public revealing his communications with Epstein.

Other photos show sex toys and a basket of satirical “Trump condoms.”

Following the release, Oversight Committee ranking member Rep. Robert Garcia, D-Calif., said it’s time to bring those involved in Epstein’s crimes to justice. He called the delayed release of the documents a “White House cover-up.”

“These disturbing photos raise even more questions about Epstein and his relationships with some of the most powerful men in the world,” Garcia said. “We will not rest until the American people get the truth. The Department of Justice must release all the files, NOW.”

In November, Congress passed the Epstein Files Transparency Act, giving the Department of Justice until Dec. 19 to release all its files relating to the federal investigation of Epstein.
